One of the first game we produce in 2013 was a HTMl5 game named Fruit Shoot, it was a simple drop and shoot type game. The game play featured around shooting fruit which dropped into the screen. Each successful shot increased the players experience, which in turn upgraded their weapon. Combos awarded better point accumulation.

We have finally released Red Zapper, a fun side scrolling touch screen controlled shooter. Built and intended for Online HTMl5 Mobile Game Portals the game is also playable on desktops, with three graphics settings to help with performance and aesthetics.

Check out the first few images of our new game, Red Zapper. It’s a Side Scrolling game intended for HTML5 Online and Mobile Games portals. It’s touch screen based. Most of the art assets have been created, a few need to be changed and the final programming needs to be completed.

This is a simple post to notify you of the current planned website updates. Due to business changes the website is also changing to reflect this. We have opted to use WordPress as the CMS to handle the management of our website, and the DIVI theme from ElegantThemes.com to assist with the creation and layout of the website.

With the start of a new year, we have changed the face of English Acorn to focus on making and producing high quality HTML5 Mobile Online Games. Prior to this we had focused on making and creating various websites, illustrations only touch HTML5 games from a freelancing point of view. A portfolio and trail of some of our work can still be found on display at our Facebook page. Yet with a new start and a new zeal we have now change our direction.
